"The carriage of hand/cabin baggage is limited to one piece weighing not more than 8 kg. This applies to all classes of travel and all flights on our network. The hand/cabin baggage should be suitable to place in the closed overhead rack or under the passenger seat, provided the sum of the 3 dimensions of all such carry on items does not exceed 45 inches or 115cm." |
| Checked Baggage Allowance |
For travel to/from the US or Canada, passengers are required to adhere to the following checked baggage rules:
• First/Executive Class: You can carry 2 pieces of baggage, each weighing not more than 70lb/32kg and not exceeding 62 linear
• Economy Plus/Economy Class: You can carry 2 pieces of baggage, each weighing not more than 50lb/23kg and not exceeding 62 linear inches. Plus, the linear dimensions of both bags taken together shouldn’t exceed 107inches
For travel to / from countries other than USA and Canada, and 'purely domestic' travel, i.e. travel within India.
the following rules apply:
On International flights:
First Class passengers can check up to a maximum of 88lb/40kg
Executive Class passengers can check up to a maximum of 66lb/30kg
Economy Plus and Economy passengers can check up to a maximum of 44lb/20kg
Infants in any class enjoy an allowance of 10 kg
On flights within India:
First Class passengers can check up to a maximum of 88lb/40kg
Executive Class passengers can check up to a maximum of 88lb/40kg
Economy Plus and Economy passengers can check up to a maximum of 66lb/30kg
Infants in any class enjoy an allowance of 10 kg |

Delayed/lost/damaged

Any loss, or damage to baggage must be reported immediately on arrival.
All mishandled baggage is traced through the worldwide computerized tracer system.
Number of days taken to settle lost/damaged baggage claims - 45 to 60days |
| Sports Equipment |
Golf kit, surfboarding equipment, snow / water skiing equipment, bicycle etc. are included in Free baggage allowance. However, special excess baggage rates are applicable in piece and weight system for carriage of these items. |
