You’re allowed to check two bags within the following limits for each bag:
• Weighs not more than 50 lbs/22.5 kg
• Doesn’t exceed 62 inches (length + width + height) |
| Excess Baggage Rules |
If your baggage exceeds Delta Airlines’ permissible limits of free baggage allowance, you’re required to pay additional fee based on quantity, weight and size. For bags weighing 51-70 lb, you’ll be charged an additional amount of $25, and for bags between 70- 100 lb, the fee is $100. There is a fee of $100 for every bag between 63-80 linear inches. Bags weighing over 100 lbs are not accepted. Within the United States, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico, an amount of $50 is charged for each additional bag, while for the same, the charge is $100 for all other destinations. For sports equipments like surfboards, cycles etc, you’re required to pay a fixed handling fee. |

Delayed Baggage: If you're baggage is delayed, notify one of the Delta Airlines representatives at the earliest.
Lost Baggage: If you've lost your baggage, please download a copy of the Passenger Property Loss Claim form and fill it out so that it can be taken care of without delay. You can download this form from the the Delta Airlines website. Fax or mail your completed form and baggage claim check to:
