The checked baggage rules are based on the concepts of weight and piece.
Under the piece system (applicable for travel to/from the US, Canada and certain countries in South and Central America), the following rules apply-
Super First Class/ Super Business Class / Business Class / Premium Laurel Class - passengers are entitled to 2 pieces of checked baggage, each weighing not more than 70lb/32kg and not exceeding the dimension of 62 linear inches (l + w + h)
Evergreen Deluxe/Economy Class- passengers are entitled to 2 pieces of checked baggage, each weighing not more than 70lb/32kg and not exceeding the dimension of 62 linear inches (l + w + h). Also, the total baggage size, measured separately and added together, cannot exceed 107 linear inches/273 cm
According to the weight system (applicable for travel to/from countries other than territories in the US/Canada and certain countries in South/Central America), the following rules apply-
Super First Class- passengers can check up to 88lb/40 kg of baggage
Super Business Class/Business Class/Premium Laurel Class- passengers can check up to 66lb/30 kg of baggage
Evergreen Deluxe Class- passengers can check up to 55lb/25 kg of baggage
Evergreen Class: passengers can check up to 44lb/20 kg of baggage |
